To Meet Expanding Business Needs, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America Combines the Operations of Two Divisions

Hunt Valley, MD.,  In an effort to better serve its growing North American business, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc.(MHIA) is pleased to announce that they will join the operations of the Mitsubishi Lithographic Press business (MLP U.S.A.) and those of its Corrugating Machinery Division (CMD) effective January 1, 2012 to form the new Corrugating and Printing Machinery Division.  This will have a dynamic impact on MHIA’sability to improve all operations in North America.

MLP joined CMD in their Hunt Valley, MD facility earlier this year.  Initially, the two divisions have been operating separately, but customers will enjoy even better service as the new division combines the operations into the Corrugating and Printing Machinery Division.

The new division will report to Mr. Yoshi Toyota, General Manager.  Mr. Toyota was previously General Manager of the Corrugating Machinery Division.  Regarding the new combination, Mr. Toyota said; “This is a great move for our company and our clients. These two divisions supply many of our same customers in related businesses in packaging and printing.  Now, we will be able to more efficiently and effectively support these customers through common facilities and cross communication.  The innovations, reliability and productivity of our machinery have resulted in greater sales and results for our customers.  Through this joining of forces, we can support superior machines with superior service.”

Customers can expect to meet some new faces, and benefit from better service and support than ever before
